After a career in my family business for over 35 years and bringing up my children, I retired in 2014 to have the opportunity to pursue my passion for creating beautiful art. I have always loved drawing, painting and have a keen interest in calligraphy and many other arts and crafts. I discovered felt making at a local British Wool show, so this was my starting point to explore this ancient craft. 

I love creating colourful tactile paintings. Wet felting layers of wool tops and using fibres to add definition and surface texture. Once felted I enhance and define my paintings using needle felting techniques.

I specialise in creating 3D needle felted animals. Each sculpture is unique in design and is hand made by manipulating the wool fibres into shape using barbed felting needles, time and patience.
